It's an instant success for the Bistrot des Fables, which perhaps benefits a little from the reputation of its big brother, the Comptoir des Fables, located just a few numbers down on the same street.

  

Here you'll find the essentials of a Parisian tavern. Mimosa eggs, frogs' legs, or the exceptional onion soup whose aroma continues to intoxicate us).

     

Remarkably well executed classics. The sauce on the veal blanquette is absolutely perfect, and the salmon steak, cooked on one side, still sends shivers down our spines.  And what's more, the portions are more than generous, which is fine by us given the quality of the meal.
