This exhibition, entitled Matisse. 1941–1954, focuses on the last decade of Matisse's life and art. After a lifetime of exploring, experimenting, and perfecting his art, Matisse decided to try a new way of painting and creating. The French painter tried his hand at cut-out gouache, a technique that allowed him to achieve a long-sought-after level of simplicity, producing motifs with universal meaning.

Have a nice visit!
